My nickname is Benny and my second middle name starts wit a B.
Do you play live?
yeah. wherever and whenever I can. It's the greatest feeling in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I live to entertain...and make money. My most special moment was doing a live impromptu performance at a dance down at Duke University and getting this huge, thunderous ovation and people wanting to affiliate with me afterwards and wanting to take pictures with me and wanting my autograph. Greatest feeling ever.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
it's cool but can rip off artists at times.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yeah. even tho I own my own.
Band History:
Benny B is a rapper from Buffalo, NY. He was originally part of a ragtag rap group called F-Block (after Fennimore, a street in Buffalo, on which one of the members lives) but when tensions arose, the group split up and Benny kept the name and started F-Block Records in early 2005. After putting out 2 mixtapes (The Prince Vol 1+2), Benny decided to go with a more professional sounding name. He decided on Impre$ario Entertainment. He is currently working on his first album, entitled "Welcome 2 Buffalo". He is 15 and his associates include MC Stone, King James, and Tre (all of Impre$ario) as well as Wise Mecca and Rhyson Hall (of Deepthinka Records), Jae Guill and SK, and Celsius (all unsigned prospects). Though he is signed to his own label, he is looking for a well-known label to discover and sign him.
