My name is Frantik. I'm a local hip hop artist out of the central Massachusetts. If you want to know more about me, check my myspace where theres a ton of info including show dates, up-to-date news, etc. myspace dot com/frantik05
ALSO, I have so many tracks, and I'll eventually get around to uploading more, but for now just deal with the few that are up now. I'm a busy dude(not necessarily just with music) so I cant always be on here

I started out in a little group called Krazy Kidz, he was Skitzo, and I was Frantik...SkitzoFrantik har har har. But in the dictionary, Frantic means emotionally unstable, which is me so I took the C out and make it a K and wuala

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet lets everybody hear your music, which is great. But it also lets everybody hear all the shitty kids these days who think they're rappers just because they have a mic and a recording program. The internet also has cause record sales in the world to plummet. Ipods and Mp3s are the new versions of CDs.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm sure. If the contract was right
Band History:
In 2002, I started rapping over instrumentals on a karaoke machine. In 2003, I showed some of my stuff to a dude, and he asked me to join his group. I wanted to record with an actual recording program rather than karaoke shit, so i joined, and within 6 months of recording group stuff, as well as solo stuff, people wanted me to release an actual solo album. Eventually I left the group and started working on my solo work. And here I am now.

Your influences?
this sounds so typical, but my main influence is life. All music in general is an influence. No groups inparticular. Im inspired by everything, from rock, to rap, to pop, even some country songs sound good here and there.
