Why this name?
Alot Of People said I was poetic with my style so, I liked science and in everything there is a thesis that you do for your project. So my objective in the Holy Hip Hop game is to be the "Theziz" while God is the objective (beginning) and the conclusion (ending)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It give the opportunity to open massive doors to indie and unsigned artist. So it does have a massive impact on music in general.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Band History:
From the Beginning of the womb, was birthed a legend, ordained by the father, decreed by the holy spirit to become a lyrical, spiritual, minister of music. I Antonio Adams, have become Theziz through the life of Jesus Christ. Music has become an everyday journey. An everlasting epic story, called by God, to walk the footprints of experience and to share his story to the masses.
Even though I didn’t start off in the church, I always stayed positive to pass good news to people who need to hear something different, when I began; I was 14yr old with no knowledge of equipment or music. But I knew in my heart that I would pursue music. Once I discovered that I received positive feed back in high school, I become part of a group called 2 poetic. With a gentleman by the name of Keith Skelton, in 1997 started the walk with Christ in music. All I had was a sampler. I started sampling opera music to drum pattern and music was born.
Also in 1997 was when I became saved, the best thing that ever happened to me. Then I did the next greatest thing which was joined the Church of the Holy Trinity (Now Holy Trinity Worship Center International) started the next step into my ministry. About a couple of months after I joined I was introduced to John Woods and David Hazer which had the group called Lords Freemen. I gave a sample tape to John and from there; it was like we all saw together on one page. Right after, I ran into Irby and I can’t really recall how he meet up with us, but I remember a conversation about music and how God called him to be a rapper. After Irby gave John a sample we all came into the studio one night, talked about writing music, and how we all had dreams which were all on one accord with Gods divine purpose. Irby and my self were once just the production team but after a couple of sessions and a few songs, Freemen had two more artist added to there roster. Since then the shows have been awesome. And because of Christ and how he ordained the 4 of us, it still boggles my mind til this day. My passion has grown stronger, my cause and purpose has gotten greater because of not just the bond were developed but the close relationship we have with God individually and together. I can’t imagine another group to perform with.
