First off, 412 stand-up. I've been rhymin since I was 11. Its a positive way to express my thoughts and emotions. Summer 2005, me and some of my boys formed a group called The KRUNK Movement or Da Movment. CD, ONUS IN STORES NOW!!! U can also purchase tracks online. $9.99 for album 99 cents/dl.
Why this name?
Its sorta like a split personality thing. When I'm spittin hardcore shit, it represents my rough energy, delivery and punchlines... my rhymes incite riots, haha. When I'm on some lyrical philosophical shit, its an acronym, Much Enlightened Lyricist, Educatin, With, Evidence.
Do you play live?
Schools, parties and other similar venues /w Da Movement.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It can be a great tool to gain exposure. Not yet a primary source for industry success, but getting there. Look at Soulja Boy, (not saying he's a really good artist, but you've gotta respect em. The kid got signed by making songs and promoting himself through the web). Also, a number of producers have been discovered through the net. In many ways the web extends the talent pool, because more samples of artists' work is readily available than ever b4.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the conditions were right, sure. For now though, I'm focused on the college thing. I attand Hampton Univ., the real HU! Onyx VIII all day! Black Diamonds all day!
Band History:
