Band History:
PURE hails from Ventura California.
A true Power Rock band with the flair and stage
presence of a band on a mission.
Formed in 2001 by brothers Justin and Matt Riege, the band shared a love for high intensity Rock n Roll, a passion
for producing old school rock inspired
by quality musicianship from bands like Metallica,
Tool and Alice in Chains.
Matt and Justin both have a contempt for pretentious
music and felt the only way to fight this was to
write and record the purest form of hard rock music,
sticking to their guns and embodying the true "core"
music they grew up on.
By adding members Matt Schneider and Mark Cady, they
came up with just the right recipe for the PURE sound.
