"Killa Communications" Feat: Planet Asia, An Oldie But Goodie.

Why this name?
It's the representation of my roots.
Do you play live?
I havent played live in a while, I now have decided to stray away from alot of recording and get back to Producing. Although lyricacy is my bakcbone, music is my passion. My greatest moment was performing as an opening artist for HieroGlyphics, Dwele, & Slum Village. I've worked with such artist as DTM (Menice Music), Proper Grounds (Maverick Records), Crook One (TeamSleep, Deftones), Vega Uno (Epidemic Massive, Illproductos), Redael (Meshed Blends), Johnny Rivers (Rhyme Syndicate,Ice T), Todd MumsFord (Mums The Word, living Legends), Technicali Sound (Visionaries, Up Above Records), Planet Asia ( SchoolYard).
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives more power to those who are trying to get known, and less power to those who prevent it from happening such as Mainstream media with their rules and regulations on Sex and fashion as opposed to real talent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the oportunity arose and I could keep my freedom of creativity.
Band History:
I was Born in the Bronx NY in 1967. My first experience with the Culture was when DJ Charlie Chase did a joint at Belmont Park, It wasn't hard to sneek up to the park and take a peek, My cousins were always going so I just tagged along, The days when Dj's Illigally plugged themselves into the city through the electrical post or in the basements of the Old buildings just right next to the park or even a neighbors window using long industrial extension cords. Things have come a long way but the Old school is still in my soul. Nothing Wrong with new school or even mainstream it's just the imbalance, so Im here to take the blessing that God has given me and not only uphold the foundation, but educate to the future, The Past so that credit is given where credit is Due. I moved to L.A in 1983 where I was blessed again to witness the Birth of Hip-Hop in a whole nother coast. What more could one ask for? Ice Tee, Mix Master Spade, Knights of The Turntables, Kid Frost Rhyme Syndicate, Lil Ceasar & Radiotron, Zulu Nation l.A. Africa Islam. The List goes on. This is me, This is my life. I hope to one day expose my Son to such a History so that He can appreciate what the past has done for the future.
