Hi!
My name's Christie Ann. I am a solo artist, not really a "Band" but close enough. :) I sing christian country music and I have recorded and released my debut song "In America". I have been thrilled with it's success on the PowerSource Magazine Christian Country Chart (#27) and I was suprised to find I was nominated for ICM Youth In Music Award this year.

Why this name?
Christie Ann is my first & middle name, that I chose to go by because my Daddy always called me "Christie Ann".
Do you play live?
I love singing, patriotic, Christian, and Country music. Performing is such a rush, it's amazing. I'll sing anywhere where there is a mike and two people to listen! My favorite show by far was a small local festival. It was a last minute thing so I wasn't organized and the equipment they had was awful, and there were maybe 50/100 people there all day.. but I had so much fun singing! It was still a great day.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet is a postitive tool for new artists like myself, however, I am very aware of the piracy problems, cutting into record sales and such.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure would.
Your influences?
"In America" reminds most people of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA".
Favorite spot?
Nashville, TN has to be my favorite, someday I'll sing at the Rymond! That's my dream.
