Hi, I'm Don and I always have a few projects on the go, but my main original project is solo. I like a lot of different styles of music, but they all revolve around the guitar.Depending on what influences are around me at the time, the styles I write will vary, which makes for diverse songs (I hope), and keeps me fresh.

Do you play live?

I play live a lot, with bands and solo. Mostly in Cairns ,Queensland, Australia, and some times out of town.I love playing live, and every gig is a special moment.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet has opened up the world to artists who otherwise wouldn't have had the opportunity, and allows people to hear songs they wouldn't have been able to hear before.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:

My history, I started playing live in 1979, I always wrote. I have toured the country with many bands over the last 27 years. I've played almost every style there is, and loved it all.

Your influences?

If I had to narrow it down, I would say guitar driven rock, blues, fingerstyle, music that moves me both instrumentally and lyrically.

Favorite spot?

Cairns

I have a large collection of guitars and amps/effects that I rotate depending on the need. Keyboards, drum machines, studio etc
