Why this name?
One of the first songs that was written was the song "Angel Fallen." The song was very well liked and no band name could be thought of, so the band adopted the song title as the title of the band.
Do you play live?
We love playing live, it's the reason we all picked up instruments to begin with. We play all over the Baltimore area as well as some neighboring states such as: Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. We have many special moments and memories over the past few years of gigging.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think it enables starting bands to be heard easily. We've gotten emails from people in Europe saying they love our music! We just want people to enjoy the music that we create.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, totally.
Band History:
Angel Fallen started through mutual friends and musician wanted ads. Through numerous lineup changes, the band was eventually composed of Chris McFadden, Spencer Jozwiak, Kevin Hart, Rob Thompson, and Jeremy Pennick. Jeremy and Rob departed with the band, and Chris picked up the lead vocal duties. This left noone to play drums. Jeremy filled in for shows until a permanant drummer could be found. A new drummer was found in Drew Ritz and the lineup was completed.
Your influences?
Our biggest influences are Opeth, Metallica, Lamb of God, Unearth, Pantera, Crowbar, and Trivium.
There are plenty of other influences as well, but far too many to list.
Favorite spot?
We love playing Fletcher's in Baltimore, MD., and the Recher Theater in Towson, MD.
