Cattle Gate plays original music in the Bakersfield, honky tonk and old school country traditions. All of the songs here (except for the live cuts) were multi-tracked "one-man band" creations. I hope to record better demo versions of these some day soon.
Why this name?
It's a long story. A long, boring story. You don't really want to know.
Do you play live?
Yes, but not lately. Our best live moments occur when the audience outnumbers the band, and has had more to drink than the band.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
We've played all the best honky tonks, VFWs, American Legions, and pole barns in the Mid-West. Not to mention Robert's Western World on Broad in Music City.
