Diamondback is a unique artist with an exceptional voice and dynamic lyrical ability. The way which he approaches the mic is a refreshing change to the bragadocious styles that corrupt today's hip hop.
Why this name?
Diamondback emphasizes the word "diamond" because he is a valuable artist because of his realism and his overall vibe (i.e. the first CD entitled "Valuable Snake")...
Do you play live?
No I am more of a writer and studio recording artist than a performer. But i plane to perform as soon as my personal project is complete.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It helps to get your music out there and to expose people to more artists.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Given the right backing and promotion and other necessities. They have to understand me, I can't be with a label that is only about money. They have to understand me as an artist, and understand the direction in which I take my music.

Your influences?
I started from curiousity, and was trying to find myself. I listened to a lot of artists, but none of them really influenced me. I just wanted to try what they were doing and take it to another lever.
