"Lee Paulet and Betsy Bolger-Paulet perform compositions that they call 'Florida Songstory.' Her poetry and his poetic songs tell the tales of their native state, stories of lonely lighthouse keepers, long-forgotten battles, recent events and Florida wildlife and critters..."

We don't do bars or waste our time with playing covers and "background music." We specialize in festivals and concerts, family reunions, community gatherings, places where people listen and care about what they're hearing.
We have special programs for schools which includes a study guide, another program which features a collection of nautical seafaring songs - and there's even a folk opera in the making.
One GREAT moment was when a young man came up to us after one of our shows and said, "I REMEMBER YOU..YOU PLAYED FOR MY SCHOOL!!" That happened several years before when we were Artists in Residence for the State of Florida.
ANOTHER was when a member of the audience yelled out "Eat your heart out Gordon Lightfoot!" after he heard our signature song, "Lighthouse."
AND, NO WE DON'T PLAY FOR FREE - or EXPOSURE.
If we wanted that, we'd just drop our pants on Main Street and would be on every news station in the country by 6 p.m.
Any and all the really good balladeers who know how to tell a story and play the music that makes it special such as:
Gordon Lightfoot (Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald)
Mike Smith (The Dutchman)
Will McLean (Florida's Troubador)
Frank Thomas (you might not know him -YOU SHOULD)
Acoustic mostly, just a sweet 12 string Takamine, our words and our voices - sometimes keyboard arrangements, an occasional piece on the lap dulcimer - whatever is applicable.
We have the experience and ability to handle anything from an intimate family reunion to a major FESTIVAL - we have the connections to other great Florida artists to expand the program to fit the venues need, the sound equipment, the expertise and the technical support to put on a REALLY GOOD show. And WE DO. See our web page for credits and comments.
Among the many festivals we play is The Florida Folk Festival where Florida Songstory has been a regular on the schedule for the past 10 years at the annual Memorial Day weekend event held in White Springs on the banks of the beautiful Suwanee River. FFF is the oldest and most prestigious in the country -in its 52nd year.
