Miniature Sun is just myself, Robb Scott, a few synths, some guitars, some computer equipment and various insects. I'm listed in the Classical section because it's the only place that has a Film Music sub-category.
Why this name?
From the XTC song, on the "Oranges and Lemons" album.
Do you play live?
Miniature Sun is strictly a studio phenomenon. Beats moving large heavy boxes around at 2 in the morning.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changed? What was I doing? Jeez, I gotta get out more.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why, if they'd only just ask, I'd, well...I'd be walking on air!
Band History:
I've been doing this in various locations since I graduated from UMass's Sound Recording Technology program.
