Our band name comes from the book of Romans verses 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God,that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,holy,acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be ye TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good acceptable,and perfect, will of God." So with that God wants us all to be saved and for his word to Transform Us all into the image of his dear son Jesus. So we believe that our music will be a road-sign to the lost to direct them to this great path.

Right now we are ministering at the local church, we have songs for all occassions, holidays and groups. We love doing this thing for God, just this past Easter(Ressurrection Sunday)We hooked up with fellow christian group "Kingdom Minded" and did a song called "He lives" there was a crowd of young men there who were really touched and inspired by the music.

Everyone is on the net these days, so it takes the limit off of where you can take your music. it a good stage to showcase what you are doing and it gives room for feedback, which is just as important.

There's always that possibility, If they have the right heart about the music and would allow us to be who we are, Sure if God leads us that way.

Transform-Us started out as a group in 2001 with original group members Franklin T. Johnson(The Author), Marcell Smoak(Holy Smoak) and Donnell Stokes(DJ- Stokes). All members of the same church, they later added two more church members Ira Robinson(Ira) and Charles Hamond(Whispa). While Frank and Marcell were in a brief retirement from rap for a season in 2004, Whispa and Ira went on to form "Kingdom Minded" and signed with B- Ready Ministries respectfully. Soon after, The Author and Holy Smoak would re-emerge as Transform-Us.

Our musical influences come from God through inspiration by his Spirit. The music comes from our life experiences expressed over the sounds of the southern church.i.e guitars, organ, drums,piano. laced with melodias "hooks"
