I started making music in January, and have been doing very well. I also have a page on My Space
http://www.myspace.com/serendipitysounds06
My CD "True Serendipity" is now available for $10.00.

Why this name?
SERENDIPITY~ IS FINDING SOMETHING UNEXPECTED AND USEFUL WHILE SEARCHING FOR SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
without it, I would not be where I am.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
hell yes

SeReNdIpItY SoUnDs Review by Musician Critician ~~~~~~~~~~ Today we review an aspiring synthesizer artist, Becci of SeReNdIpItY SoUnDs. Its promising that she has over 6, 543 plays at the time of this review meanings she must have lots of repeat listeners and returning friends. Beccis first song is Black Dwarf Star, which in fact is a theoretical star that has burned out and lost all its remaining energy. Therefore the listener is to assume this song should infer some feeling of cosmic burnout and deconstruction. Does she pull it off? As Black Dwarf Star begins, we get a feeling of deconstruction with a primal underscore that includes a nice tribal rhythm with a repetitive minor-third walk-down. To add interest she adds intermittent modern scratching elements and we are introduced to spacey bridges that give the feeling of cold timelessness. To answer our question, yes she does pull it off and does so nicely. Beccis second song is Mello Beat which begins with a thoughtful chord and follows with a rhythmic sub-bass. The beat picks up with several interesting percussion parts that mix well and intrigue. Her use of perfect-fifths inspires a thought-provoking melody. In Dream Time we delve into a deeper level of sub-consciousness with sustained roots and staccato pedal bass. The song explores a dreamy sensuality and develops a stronger rhythm with crystal bell-like highlights throughout. There are nice photos of Becci on her site, but no photos of her actually playing instruments. Listeners love to see an artist in action, please consider adding some, Becci! Wed also like to see interesting info such as how long shes been playing, what are her favorite synths, what did she use to record/sequence? We understand some artists prefer to keep trade secrets to themselves. However it would add needed authenticity to a newer artist on her way up. An artist on her way up she is, so be sure to stop and listen to Becci of SeReNdIpItY SoUnDs! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Review by INvbaei ~~~ Black Dwarf Star: Very nice intro I like the air feel to it. Perfect way to start a music piece. The main melody is very dark yet has a bright feel to it. The forground beat/melody at 0:24 gives the melody a new feel to it. The song has a crazy build up. The shaker has a great beat to it. Nothing to crazy beat wise but all round a very good mix. Good use of panning with one of your melodys d(^_^d) Mellow Beat: Once agian a very nice intro. The beat at the begin gives me strange feelings, and even weird mental images. Very well done. When the pad melody comes in it makes everything complete. I love the note selection. Reminds me of the first time I heard Aphex Twins Selected Ambient works. Not the same sound but the same feeling. It is very hard for artists to make me feel that way. Very well done. Creepy Melody:The more I listen to your music the more I love it. Its a style that I've forgotten about. A very beautiful tune. A very very very trippy song. I would say more but the song speaks for itself. lol Dream Time: Crazy bass lines, are you using a arpeggiator? All around good stuff mate.
