Introduction to your band:
It's just me in my small digital studio gettin out what is rolling around in my head and my heart. Every once in a while, a friend comes by and I get them to add what happens in their head when they listen and most time's it's pretty good. Hey Hey!

Why this name?
It's just me for now, maybe someday I'll have a band. Rhonie is the name my dad gave me when I was born. It's different and unique, so I think I'll keep it.
Do you play live?
Not playing live at present except in my studio. Am looking for other musicians to jam with or to colaborate with online or off. I am not looking to form a band although I am open to the possibilities. Mostly just chillin, waiting on God for His timing and leading into what's next.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives the average Joe a platform to be heard and to share what he/she is doing and is about. It enables more of us to be heard by a wider audiance than was previously available and I believe it is leveling the playing field and making way for the indie artest to shine once again.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if it is what God leads me into!
Band History:
I have been singin', playing keyboard and guitar for 36+ years!
Your influences?
I'd have to say, what I listened to on top 40 radio in the sixty's and seventy's is what my musical influence has been. My favorites were the Beatles, CSN, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane, Pink Floyd, Alabama, Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan and Steve Miller to name a few. Retrospectively speaking, it is the great harmonies that seem to grab my attention the most. And then there is the driving bass - makes me wanna get up and move - yeah!
Favorite spot?
Mostly in God's presence - which is anywhere and everywhere. And then there is my log home in my Appalachian Hideaway in the hills of North Central West Virginia - take me home country roads.....
Equipment used:
Yamaha classical guitar, Fender Accoustic electric six and twelve string and Technics KN6000. On the recording side of things, it is Adobe Audition and CakeWalk.
Anything else...?
I am working hard to get some of my older stuff processed and onto this site in between life, the J O B, the hubby and the grandson. I keep gettin' this new stuff that is beggin' to be heard as well - I am reminded everyday what a precious commodity time is. Heres to makin the most of it!
