North Carolina breed.
Charelston feed.
Atl raised.

One of many in an entoruge of talent. Headquaters in College Park, Ga. "Buc 40 Ent, It's more than a Record Label"

I am the youngest in the group, a group of about 20 people who together create the music that we do. Its not hip-hop, or rap. It's music in it's puriest form.
Why this name?
Buc 40 is actually how much our boy E weighs. but the thing is he's about 6'2" He's the master mind in the majority of out projects. Well, hes kinda the leader on the instrumental side of out group.
Do you play live?
Our girl AmberstaR hac performed at Beat Street live in Atl so many times it's crazy. We have D.J. some parties also so we kinda get to see a lot of people on a regular bases. It's a lot of running around but it's worth it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it gives groups like mine the chance to get our music out across the world to states and even countries that want to hear different stuff. Soon we are going to be able to sit at home and watch live concerts while they are perfoming in bars realtime. I am totally with the new move of technogy and cant wait to see what they have comming out next.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If given the oppourtunty YES. I would love to get signed and have the chance to live out my dream. To do what I know I have been sent here to do. And thats to change the lives of many through music. My only love..
Your influences?
My biggest infuence on music was myself. I have created my on style of music I call "Vintage". My music can not be put in a set genre. I dont have music that you can compare it on the radio with, but if it was to sound like anybody it would be a mix between Kanye West, Mozart, And Black Eyed Peas. I really dont know cause I cant really describe my own music. I just know I dont hear it anywhere else. Atleast not to me. But you know everybody is there worst or best critique.
Favorite spot?
Honestly my favorite spot isnt Miami, or Atl, or even N.Y. I am a little bit more simple. My favorite spot is The Isle of Palms. At the beach, in the ocean on the boat. Water for ever. The food fantastic. The people polite and the scenery breath taking. If you go anywhere go there.
Equipment used:
I have a Roland Fantom X6, A triton Studio Le, MPC Akai 2000. I work with Pro Tools, CakeWalk, Sound Forge, and Reason. But I always like learning new stuff.
