With little time I am trying to figure out the many nuances of producing sounds that aren't objectionable. It has proven to be a very difficult task. This challenge helps me to escape a mundane existence by venting noises that didn't exist before. Without proper training, creating harmonic rhythm, without too much predictability, is a very difficult task. Unfortunately, to me, most of my "music" sounds like violent gastric disturbances. Layers of an onion that still stink the deeper you get. But I'm workin' on it.
Why this name?
I forgot what I called it...Arsehole Munch I think... An English twist to the Beavis and Butthead quote, "ButtMunch". I truly am an "AssMunch", musically and personally.
Do you play live?
No I don't play "out" 'cause I don't have time nor a solid repertoire. I really don't understand how people can afford the time to play "out" and make a decent living, I have a wife, 2 kids and a small business that operates 82 hours a week. This is strictly a hobby for me to try and figure out an original approach to jamming that I think has a little merit.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Do you honestly think that a person like myself knows the ramifications and affect of this immense technology on the music industry? I might assume that the rich are getting richer with it. For the listener, the world of mp3's is like a huge, interactive, personalized radio station. You have some great options on how you want to utilize it. For the performer, I think, it's just another vehicle to promote live shows and spread their word.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
C'mon, I must be a total idiot... Now why wouldn't you sign with a major label!?! To me this is the dumbest question ever, seriously. Obviously if the contract was not lucrative or asked for my first born. But I thought that a standard record contract, with a major label, for any new artist, would have to be like winning the lottery! Are bands actually succeeding without the help of major labels now? See, I must be totally clueless.

I wish I could get away to see one.

If you have read this, thank you and please e-mail me. I honestly believe I have filled this out for absolutely no reason whatsoever other than to make myself feel important, HOW SAD IS THAT!
