I am just a songwriter/musician/singer/producer who writes a few songs every now and then. I have since retired from road work and mostly do studio recordings and I have my own home demo studio which you hear music created in it from time to time. I will post some demos of my own and maybe some demos of co-writes or co-producing. It's just what I feel like posting at the time. Thanks for stopping by! ;-)
Why this name?
It is my real name :-)
Do you play live?
Used to play live, retired now. Ah I remember the time I played on The Grand Ole Opry and also remember playing for a 3 Million plus TV audience. That was pretty kewl. There's nothing like looking back at the tapes and see just how you really looked. It is true, you do look heavier on camera :-)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well I think so. Who ever heard of MP3's 10 years ago ???
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not a chance in he|| !!
I had an offer from an Indie label back in the 90's but I refused due to contract stipulations. They would own me. Sorry but I'm too free-spirited :-)
But a writing/publishing deal is another story as yes I would.
Band History:
I started when I was about 6 yrs old and the rest is history LOL
Your influences?
Restless Heart, Doobie Brothers, Michael McDonald, Exile, Diamond Rio, Shenandoah, and more recently Rascal Flatts!!
Favorite spot?
Nashville TN
There is no other place like it as I lived there for 5 years of my life but was on the road most of the time I lived there. LOL
Equipment used:
Too long to list here, but I'm mainly a keyboard guy who sings and writes.
