I post. I am the first. I am honored.

I envy your clarinet music. You make it sound so easy to write for. It sounds like something Shostakovich might have written if he hadn't been all Sovieted by the Soviets.

I should probably go work on my piece, now. Or play Gran Turismo. Whateva.
Why this name?
Just me.
Do you play live?
I sometimes perform in ensembles that play my music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think that it is extremely important to a composer's ability to move forward in the industry in this day and age.
Band History:
I grew up playing organ and clarinet and still play/perform on clarinet. Writing music is my true passion though!
Your influences?
I'm influenced greatly by the music of Prokofiev and I have a love of jazz. I also very much enjoy Messiaen, Milhaud...and many more! I'm hoping to add more electronic influence to my music now that I have a lot of fundamentals.
Favorite spot?
I love Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Portland, ME.
Equipment used:
I use a Casio px-110 keyboard, pencil and paper, Sibelius 7, ProTools 10, Behringer C-2 mics. (and my laptop, of course, a Dell XPS 15z). Various instruments as well.
Anything else...?
I would love to intern at a recording studio, for a symphony, or work at a label...hint!
