We are RUST. This band has been together for over a decade, with great local success. We are currently trying to get a record deal, so if you like our stuff...pass on the good word.
Why this name?
The name R.U.S.T. is actually an anagram. You'll have to get to know us better to understand what it means.
Do you play live?
We play out usually three times a week or more. We thrive on the live show. It dosen't matter if we play for 50 people...or 500, we use the same energy.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet make bands like us more accesable to the public.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell Yes!
Band History:
We all met at a place called Junction Square in New Brighton PA. Our ecclectic musical styles just meshed the right way. People loved to listen to us, and when they started singing our songs back to us...we figured we might as well keep going.
Your influences?
We have a wide range of influences in this band. everything from funk and pop...to hard rock and reggae.
Favorite spot?
North Carolina, we took a trip down there a few years ago, and played some killer shows.
