Right now I am working on a new album. As time goes on, I am adding new songs to my website to see how they do on the charts. I previously worked as an artist and producer in Southern Cali (Orange County) doing underground chicano gangsta rap with Devious Records, and Cali Riders - a compilation album with Hustletown Records and 1503 Street Kings. I have moved temporarily to another location, due to harrassment by the gang placas (cops) who accused me of instigating trouble in the OC.

My rap music has a lot of different types of beats. I don't like my beats to all sound the same or for all the songs to say the same thing. I also like to tell stories and make a point in my songs, though some may be just for fun. If I talk about life in the streets, for example, I show the bad as well as the good. Life as a gangsta is not all glamor. In fact, most gangstas don't live long lives. They either get killed in the calles or sent to the pinta (prison) to be caged up like animals - possibly for the rest of their lives. Sabes que, it's up to each to live his own life.
Why this name?
This is my nickname from the barrio I was from in my younger crazy days on the streets of Cali.
Do you play live?
I play live in Orange County and up in Alaska. It's cool playing to live audiences.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is changing how people hear and learn about new and upcoming music groups. It makes it easier for others to get to know your music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Right now, I'm open for anything that brings in the dinero. I wouldn't mind collaborating or working with any of the chicano rap labels in Cali.
Your influences?
Chicano rap, Shadow, L'il Rob, Spanky Loco,
TuPac, Eazy E, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre,
Favorite spot?
Sur Cali
Anything else...?
Remember to vote it "hot" if you like or download the song. It helps me keep track and know what everyone likes. Also, if you want to work on some raps with me, e-mail me and give me a holla.
Gracias
