Copatone (born Jon D. Gos in Fairfax, Virginia on May 20, 1981) is an American hip hop and R&B record producer/engineer whose work combines elements both genres. Influenced early on by artists like Timbaland, Portishead, Tricky, Bjork, Aphex Twin, Nellee Hooper and Lamb, his music is as diverse as his interests.

His work as a studio enigneer has paired him with Brian Cox (Usher, Mariah Carey, Jagged Edge), Gwen Stefani, Guy Sigsworth, Boyz in Da Hood, Lil Jon, Ciara, Jazze Pha, Chad Hugo of the Neptunes, Kanye West, Bobby Valentino and Timbaland's artist Attitude.
