Leaving on a Jet Plane.
AsTaRoTh, is a Rock Genre Band formed in 2005 and renamed in 2006 A.D.. AsTaRoth started earlier in the year 2005 with only two members Sumit (lead guitars) & Abhisekh (Main Guitars), called as eYekon. eYekon, later introduced Sanjeev (Vocalist) to the band and started doing their gigs. Later, in the same year Prabin (Drums) & Kishor (Bass) joined the band. And after getting eYekon filled with five members doing different instruments changed their name to RoCk CaRNiVaL. The band so called as RoCk CaRNival started practising their gigs, & due to few suggestions from the friends & the band members itself, RoCk CaRNiVaL changed into AsTaRoTh. Now, at present the band is called AsTaRoTh, and is carrying five members as:

Why this name?
After long selection of names, the members of the band chose the name AsTaRoTh, coz they found the real meaning of the word, which sounded abit sensational. AsTaRoTh, actually means A GOD THAT WATCHED OVER HELL.

Kupondole, where our practise room is situated, that is our main guitarist's home, where we often hang around jamming up.
Equipment used:
Presently we use simple peavey Amps with normal but big speakers, Electric Guitars - Vantage(Sumit's) & Maya (Abhisekh's) both are foreign electric guitars. We also use gadgets, delays, as effects. Simple indian drums for practise which are affordable. Silverstone bass guitars. We are planning to purchase amplified spearkers...
