The 13th Root are Jay13 and Matt Borzoni. Together they produce a unique form of hip-hop, reflective of their backgrounds and eclectic influences.
Why this name?

It increases availability to the music for the masses.

Of course we wouldnt, we enjoy being poor.
Band History:
Both members come from completely different roots:
Matt Borzoni: drumming in london punk bands from early age, moving into music production ending in this latest collaboration.
Jay 13: rapping and producing hip-hop for many years. got involved in garage and drum n bass. only 16 and the main vocalist for The 13th Root.
