I go by 白馬 (Bok Mah is one of 2 pronouciations I know of these words), but most people know me as either Little Geoff, or Crazy Geoff. I started this little company to market my beats called Sonic Dope. I want to make it into a record label.
I have been writing rhymes since the late 1980s & making beats since the 90s. I'm currently working on 2 projects that have been years in the making now. 1 is my Sonic Dope Compilation, "20 Round Clip" of different rappers/singers over my beats. & my solo project. "Rosemary's Baby".

Why this name?
I spent almost my entire adult life working in a chinese restauraunt. & even in my childhood asian culchures have had a minor influence on my life. Any way Bok Mah is cantonese for White Horse. Horse is my sign in the Chinese zodiac so I actualy am a white horse.
Do you play live?
I Love goin' on the stage. I do alot of open mics & Alot of different musicians have got on stage & did diferent stuff for me to spit to. So I guess I mostly just rap to Jam Sessions @ my shows.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well, I have mixed feelings about this one. Alot of the bullshit carbon copies that complely lack artisty are becoming realy popular now through sites like this & myspace & imeem. But on the other hand it give me a market as well. so it's got it's good & bad sides to it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not
Band History:
It started in St. Louis MO when I was 10 (in the summer of 1989). I was @ a friends house & his older brother had a bunch of people over & they were Freesyling & I just jumped in & spit something. I've been writing ever since. @ age 16 (In Bangor ME) a friend of mine in high school read what I was writing over my shoulder in a study hall. He was the lead guitarist in a hardcore band that was becomeing rather popular on the New England scene. @ that bands next show He pulled me up on stage & Aske me to do that verse to thier music right then & there. That was my 1st show. I later was in a group called the Backwoods Bucks which only lasted 3 shows. & I've done manny stage apearances over the past 14 years wth various bands as a rapper & a few times in places as a DJ.
Your influences?
I draw influece off of every thing around me. So you might hear me make a beat that sounds industial one minnute & one that's Rock & Roll oriented the next. but my music is mre influenced by life experience than other music.
Favorite spot?
It was Nara Sushi In Richmond, VA. But that place no longer exists. It was the heart of the underground music scene in this city for a few years & the best job I ever had Working on the door & in the kitcken there.
Equipment used:
I'm verry Low Tech. Some say my shit's outdated or behind the times. but most of the so called current sh*** is beyond played out in my mind.
