First of all, I guess I should mention that I'm not really a band. I'm just a lone musician who was tired of playing with countless numbers of other musicians who either weren't serious or just didn't have the same interests as me. I've always been pretty good at impromptu jamming so one day I decided to purchase some recording software and experi-MENTAL Disorder happened. Most of the first music I recorded was put together on the fly with no preconception of what I was trying to do. It all just flowed out of me. That's pretty much how I've been putting my music together since. I only have a handful of songs with lyrics and the rest is instrumental (for now). So all the music I put together now is just based on whatever is floating through my head and whatever I come up with when I'm done recording is at least some attempt to replicate that internal sountrack. Hope you enjoy.
Why this name?
I've always liked plays on words and I'm also a logo-oriented person. The name and the logo kind of just came together one day when I was at work daydreaming and the whole idea just kind of happened. I couldn't exactly pinpoint the moment, but it seemed to work out pretty well and the rest is history.
Do you play live?
Unfortunately, because of my lack of other band members, I'm not able to play live. I have played live in the past and I love it. I've been kicking around some ideas of how to put on a solo show. I guess we'll see what happens.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has opened doors for a lot of acts and given people the ability to share music in ways most could only have dreamed of in the past. It's now as easy as sharing a drawing with another person.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably not. All of the music I wrote was done spontaneously and I probably couldn't remember how to play most of it. But I'm sure if a million bucks was waved in front of my face, I could make some exceptions.
Band History:
I started this whole thing in mid 2005 and I've been recording stuff ever since.
Your influences?
I have such a broad range of influences, I couldn't possibly name them all. Everything that I've heard sice music first started.
