Why this name?
The name came out of the combination of personalities that the music seems to convey... soft and sensual but also urban and stylish or...FLY.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
In some ways it levels the playing field allowing the independant Artist to be heard on the same mass scale as major Artists. Also, allows for the Artist to reap much of the benefits of his talent as apposed to only a small share as with Signing a record deal.

Band History:
The producer of Blew Fly's music has had a professional career in the past as a lead singer/songwriter with an R&B group called KCM. Signed to Virgin records in 92 KCM enjoyed a top 40 single, performances on soul-train and others and major concerts with Artists like Cameo, Mint Condition and Criss-Cross to name a few.
