Charmed Snark is the "band name", but the band currently only consists of me and my recording studio. If you are unfamiliar with the Snark species, I suggest you take a trip over here.
Charmed snarks, by the way are less dangerous.
Why this name?
Because I can be snarky, and its bound to show up in the music eventually. A charmed snark of course, never hurt anyone.
Do you play live?
No. Later.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet does help in that the big record companies no longer fully control your access to the music. The downside is that with everyone trying to get their music out, it can be even more difficult to get good music noticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
The jury is still out on that one. From what I understand, a record contract is really just a loan that must be paid back. It sounds like the system is designed so that the artists usually get very little left over, if they don't get their legal end correct up front.
Your influences?
Mark Knopfler, Tom Petty, Ultravox, Eagles, Pink Floyed, classical and much much more..
Favorite spot?
Out in the country where the birds do sing..
Equipment used:
Various: guitars electric and acoustic, PC, mixer, mics and cool software.
