"One Love My People. Here to share in this life the world God let me make and make mistakes in. My music is real to the heart and mind. From the heart of a scorn woman, to the neck of the hardest thug on the street, lyrics are guaranteed to be sharp and realistic to leave you with a flavor of wonder. "
Why this name?
I've always been a natural person, at one with nature, myself and God. I only expanded on that.
Do you play live?
I've performed a few times locally. My spot was Expressions a couple of years ago. My feature show was held at the Stewart Theater on NCSU campus last year-what i consider my first real live performance. My more recent appearances were features with I.P.(International Players) whom i have two tracks with on Mp3 currently, as well as DTR Thoroughbreds covering mostly southeastern North Carolina (until the group abruptly fell apart.)

..... That was many years ago. Since then, I've toured Europe mostly Germany. I've shared the stage with amazing artists.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Things are being done with music and the internet that i never expected. It's the chance that every true poet wants which is to be heard. It's a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the world to express themselves and have other people listen by choice.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'm sure I would if the opportunity approached me sign a recording contract with a major label. I'm leaning towards Def Jam because of their reputation and a respect for artists that belong to that label, but am open for interacting with any label (upon research) that will let me create and encourage me and truly believe and support me.
Band History:
I started writing poetry way back in the day. I extended my talents from singing in church choirs to writing songs about love and loving. My lyric writing ability came in 1996 after composing a piece to music (by BlackDust). That one piece sparked who I am and what I do. In 1999, I rhymed for the first time in front of an audience of about 75-100 people and proceeded to perform at (formerly) club Expressions downtown Raleigh. My first feature came December 1st 1999, on North Carolina State University campus (Stewart Theater) and from there I became, more or less, a local celebrity.
Your influences?
I'm solely HipHop/R&B. I'm all about the street-music. My biggest influences are Method Man and Missy Elliott. Mostly compared to Lauryn Hill but with a thug appeal.
Favorite spot?
The World is Mine, I love it all. But I especially love the water. A lake, a pond, a river, bay or ocean. Wisdom.
Equipment used:
Pen, Pad and Microphone. My man Scott made most of the tracks with Pro Tools. The rest were mostly Blackdust who uses the MPC3000.
Anything else...?
I respect all writers as true artists. I respect originality. All of my music comes directly from me. This is how I feel. I hope you feel me.
