Anton M. HARGROVE,better known as ALL-MEANS to his fellow friends has been a true lover of rap music since his father gave him his first album (Sugar Hill Gang) in the mid 80's. As a young boy Anton often dreamed of one day making his own mark in the world of rap music. The Philadelphia native finally found a chance to make his dreams a reality in the later part of last year.
Why this name?
The name ALL-MEANS come from doing what ever it takes to get the job done,by all-means necessary.
Do you play live?
I have perform at surrounding clubs, and some spots out of town. The most special one was at The House Of Blues in Orlando FL.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It lets you hear more of a artist music than you might hear on the radio or street.For the people who cant get to a store can buy it off line.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes that is my goal to sign a record contract with a major label.
Your influences?
Since I was born and raise up north in Philadelphia, my influences come from rappers like DMX JAY Z JA-RULE.Now that I live in the south I like OUT-KAST TRICK-DADDY and a few others.
Favorite spot?
I live now in Savannah GA but it's nothing like going back to my home which is Philadelphia PA.
