I'm not a band. I'm just a guy with a computer and hella songs. I graduated from Musicians Institute in 2003. Moved to Taiwan where I've written, arranged, and produced for the biggest chinese artists.
Why this name?
My parents gave it to me
Do you play live?
All the time for artists out here. I've played with Soler, Josie Ho, Eason Chan, Alan Kuo, Ting Chu, and Ryan Hui, with the occasional 'Jade Solid Gold' on TVB performance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's making it way easier for ANYONE with a computer to get there song out. So in a way it's better for artists who are looking for a start. But there's so much garbage out there now too, it's hard to weed through and get to the good ones.
As far as record companies losing millions of dollars over mp3's. It affects me too. Not only do I own part of record company (Hummingbird Music), but I make most of my money through royalties... Chinese Royalties. And here, pirated goods are sometimes easier to find than the real thing...
But I still download mp3's. I'll never download an entire album, but the occasional song for reference. I do buy albums more than downloading, but don't think record companies should start suing teenagers for checking out cool bands on the internet.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, but I can't really sing. I have auto-tune.
Band History:
I'm from Seattle. Half Japanese/Half Swedish. I moved out to Asia simply cause I got an offer from Sony Taiwan. But things didn't work out between us, and I started working with Universal. Then ended up starting my own record company, Hummingbird Music in Hong Kong with some friends... I might head on back to LA, I might stay out here. I don't really know. I do love it out here, but it's not my home...
Your influences?
I was 11 when Nirvana came out with Nevermind. I grew my hair long, people thought I was a girl, but I didn't care. I bought a guitar, learned every Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Nirvana song there was. But then I went to High School in hood. I had a band, but we'd get booed if we played rock. So we started playing Puff Daddy songs and rapping. Then I started dating girls who liked Aimee Mann, Sarah McLaughlan, etc... Turns out I was into that too. Then I moved to Asia and got into the best stuff out here. Those are my real influences.
Favorite spot?
Either Hong Kong or Taipei... I can't choose between them.
Equipment used:
Most of these demos were done on a G4 running Pro-Tools 5. But I've upgraded to a Mac Pro running Logic 8..
