Flat picking Old Tyme, ethnic folk influenced by American folk and mountain music, as well as old school Motown, R&B, Blues, zydecco, & cajun there are Latin Rythems, touching lyrics, and funny perceptions of life.
Why this name?
The Grateful Dead was already taken.
Do you play live?
The best music is "Live" music, and I play anywhere and everytime I can. I only go to work to support my guitar habit.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I'll let you know when I figure it out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, as soon as I am done teaching my pig how to fly.
Band History:
Started playing guitar when I was eight years old, let's see, if I am forty-three, I guess that makes 35 years more or less. Wow, think how good I'd be if I'd only practiced more....
Your influences?
Great songwriters like Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, John Denver, and great pickers like Doc Watson, Chet Atkins, Tony Rice, Acoustic Alchemy.
Favorite spot?
Battery Park, New York City
Equipment used:
Taylor K-14 CE, beautiful Koa Grand Auditorium, Les Paul 'Studio', and Slammer Bass.
Anything else...?
Please use some of my stuff in your own creations; movies, shorts, goofs, whatever. Record it yourself, play it live if you like. Work it like you stole it.
