The Schmatch Machine Collective was three (sometimes five) guys' attempt to break the mould of the typical high school rock band... They were active for the first half of 2004, recording an album and playing several shows before disbanding. Members include multi-instrumentalists Sam Adams (http://www.soundclick.com/samadams) and Brooks Frederickson (http://www.soundclickcom/brooksfrederickson), drummer Brad Crossland, and occassionally Kirby Carlsson and Brian Mack. It was a killer time...
Why this name?
Simply put, it's complete nonsense.l
Do you play live?
We played live a few times, closing for the 2004 school variety show, opening for the 2004 Earth Fest, and playing for a school provided "coffee shop" gig... hot times.
