With four very different musical backgrounds Ditheramb has evolved, with a style like no other. The band constist of (From top left, clockwise) Jack Greenhill Bass Guitar, Glenn townsend, Drums, Steve Kinghorn Vocals /Guitars, Scott Kinghorn Guitars Using their hard hitting metal background they mixed strong, aggressive lyrics against subtle yet haunting, powerful chord structures. Continuing to expand the boundaries of each song beyond the expected, has given them edge an which has made it difficult to place their music into any given genre. In doing this, the band believes it has created its own unique and approachable style.
As part of their three year plan, It was decided by the band to take a year off to build their own home recording studio. During the building of their studio and recording of their first self produced demo, Ditheramb re- evaluated thier musical direction. Having our own studio also gave them the chance to re write and re record some of thier tracks. Although Ditheramb's songs are non-political and non-racial, they do have a strong socia-economic statement. Debut EP 'TEMPT' is now available through www.rockinghorse.net or ditheramb@hotmail.com
