Change The Game is changing the game of hip hop and defining reality
Why this name?
"Change The Game" came from the idea of the group as far as boy groups are concerned.. We wanted to be different from the average boy groups out there. So we are going to do as the name says..
Do you play live?
We have performed locally at High Schools, malls, and Clubs. And we definately love performing cause the energy from the crowd is amazing at our shows, there's nothing that we love more. I think our first performance together is the most special one being that it was the first one.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet helps independent artists and upcoming artist get their music out and heard, and I feel that's the best way. But if u really like a artist I think u should still support them by buying their cd.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yea, Of Course.. Yo, Universal should come holla at us..lol
Band History:
Shabazz and Chris, did the Wannabe B2K show for MTV and from there we just kept talking about putting our own group together.. We sat down talked about what we wanted to do and felt we should seek out to find 1 more member to make it 3 of us.. So we had auditions out in NYC, and around 100 guys came out to audition and out of the day one guy stood out, which was Rell.. A few days after the auditions, we called him back and asked him just to come spend some time with us for a while to see where his mind was at.. The most important thing about being in a group is the relationship.. We had to make sure we could get along and vibe with him. It became official about a month after we met Rell that he was definately what we were looking for. From there, we learned how to sing together and we moved on to record our first song.
Your influences?
Some of our Musical Influences are R.Kelly, Usher, 112, Nas, Tupac, and Jagged Edge.
Favorite spot?
Our favorite spot right now is NYC!! We love going to the city just to chill.
Anything else...?
Basically our focus is on our first album, and be another big successful group and basically bring something new to the music scene.. We want to tour the world and get to know a lot of people.. We basically just want to have fun with what we doing
