About the song
Guitar solo over a custom backing from Grahme L in Scotland based on "Double Trouble" (my favorite Blues song, originally by Otis Rush) recorded with my Eric Clapton signature strat GOLDIE and NOS Blues Jr amp with Boss's new DD-7 delay pedal (thus the 'delayed' in the name). I think the feelings added by the DD7 are great and I'm so glad I finally decided to get it - it's just about my favorite pedal now!

I was at Madison Square Garden on February 28, 2008 when Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood played together, and the solo by Eric literally brought me to tears, and I've wanted to try my hand (literally) at this every since. I hope the feelings are coming through - that's the bottom line to me! I will never come close to Clapton's abilities, but he is a constant inspiration to me, and Otis Rush wrote some of the greatest Blues songs ever created - and this is my very favorite of all.
