When I (JJ) was at my church camp we had to wear these certain tags blue for boys and pink for girls. It was a blu flame kinda. So then i thought of the name Blu Blaze without the "e" on the end of blue.

We haven't performed yet but when we do it'll be in Louisiana.

A whole lot. Like my brother that lives up in the ATL. He also makes beats so when I'm workin on one and I don't know what to do i just send it to him in a mp3 file at he adds to it.

What it do, yall? Yeah this is the blu crew's offical profile!!! This ya boy JJ and this is how the blu crew got started. Yall ready? So anyway, we started this profile in May of 2006 and the reason we started this profile cause we needed to promote our music more than it was getting promoted. All the group members that you already know are: JJ, Duke, and Lulu.This group got started way early in 2003. That was the time I ( JJ ) didn't even listen to music!!!. I can't understand i love music and I've been surrounded by it forever i just did't really get into it until the summer of 2004!!! So in the result of me not listening to music, i couldn't rap at all!!! During that time that's when we had a different selection of group members. We were: Lil J ( JJ ), Lil E ( Duke ), Lulu ( you know who that is ), and Alex. Alex was someone we knew even as real young kids. We still know her now. Back then, we didn't even have a group name!!! That's common though. Anyway, then we found out my brother ( who lived with us at the time ) made beats. So we used some of his beats to make our songs. Then what happened was we decided it was best to quit with the group. A year later in 2004 ( a little before i started to listen to music ), we ( Me and Duke ) thought that maybe we can start the group back up. I was a little bit more experienced in rapping but not completey good. We started the group back up with some freinds of ours named Raydale and Joey. They were cousins. We did good in that group for a little while. Then a few months passed and i started listening to music and got better in rapping. I started loving it and everything i did had to do with music!!! I even tried to make some hip hop beats! I couldn't at all!!! My brother taught me some stuff but i couldn't make them at all. Anyway that group broke up and me and Duke gave it a rest again. We tried again to start this group up. We called Lulu and asked her did she wanna get back in the group. She thought about it then said ok. Then our friend Daniel heard us and said yall let me get in the group. That's how it was. All 4 of us. This is when i started making beats. The first ever beat i made was the one to " Port City ". I decided that i could make beats for the group. Then daniel got out becasue some gurlz that we talked to said i was talkin to him behind his back. It wasn't true. So now it's just JJ, Duke, and Lulu. I pray everyday that we stay together. Wish us luck. One.
