The DJ Industrious experience is an audio collage. A synthesist using dj tools to perform a live production blending sounds from various sources to create a mood, a feeling, a motion.
Why this name?
Industrious is the meaning of my real name. The Latin roots of Industrious also mean "diligent, hard working, skillful, clever, and ingenious". I hope to live these traits in the music that I produce, promote, and perform.
Do you play live?
There have been some rare live performances but for the most part this project is still in the closet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hmm . . .
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It really just depends on the mutual benefit of the deal.
Band History:
DJ Industrious has been a closet keyboardist for over 25 years. Trying to pose as an acoustic folk musician he has finally come to terms with his true inner self . . . a synthesist.
