On1entertainment is a group that consist of one real MC by the name of EKLIPSE.He is the first artist solo artist off the label.His music is a cross between mos def and icecube. His lyrics make u think and feel as if your are part of the story he is telling.With in house production by Wiliam from BROOKLANE PRODUCTIONS the album is full of musical combinations that shoud appeal to everyone.Under the guidence of myself Clai-Klay and Terald Downs,We bring buisness and street knowlege to the table.
Why this name?
The name ON1ENTERTAINMENT came about from the days of clubbing.We would drink 151.when we hit the club the bouncers at the door would always ask if i was on that 151.so we just took of the 15 and left the 1 and been ON1 ever since.
Do you play live?
Eklipse is a well known spoken word poet and performs often.we have a live jazz band that will be touring with him and playing at his perfomances
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has changed the music industry to the affect that artist now have a chance to own what they create and prove to the big name label that they dont need them but will work with them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if we have 100% publishing and creative control.I know the game.
