I've been playing guitar and writing songs for four or so years. I decided to start recording under the name Flight to Fargo.
Why this name?
I'm a big Buddy Holly fan. It's a reference to his death. His plane was on it's way to Fargo, ND when it crashed.
Do you play live?
I played at a local coffee shop and a few places on my college campus. I attend William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it helps bands and musicians with getting their music out into the world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the label.
Your influences?
Bright Eyes, Green Day, Violent Femmes, Calibretto 13, Elliott Smith, Ramones, The Smiths, Aimee Mann, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, The Cure, Kevin Devine
