My name is Bookie,im 15, and Im a beginner mixer. I like making music by mixing, but I enjoy hip-hop and techno, rap, etc. They are more catchy.
Why this name?
I choose my name from a name given to me at school. I know, not too creative, but no one else has it.
Do you play live?
I dont play life since Im not that popular...though I wouldnt care too much to become known a little bit. I love mixing, and its my new fave hobbie.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it changes it because people can now exchange and download digital music which doesnt take up much space and is good quaility. With out MP3, the music industry would be in tatters.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I wonder..NO DUH. Bt thing is I dont know how good I really am. Thats the problem.
Band History:
Not much to say...I juust started in late July, and Im jst trying to get as much exp. as I can. A new Album based off my fave song Ive made called Project Shuffle.
Your influences?
I dont really have a fave artist or a influence; really because I like most types of music...so too many to choose.
Favorite spot?
Well I love Oakville, and I love Europe since Ive been there many times.
Equipment used:
Sony ACID 6, mic and sometimes Fruity Loops. I use loops for my music since I dont have the skill yet to make ALL of my new beats, but I can modifiy my loops and beats to a certain extent.
