I am currently recording my own songs through Basque Studios in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Fruity loops and my Roland Edirol UA25 have become my latest friends. Late in the Evening is my first attempt at recording. All of the instruments and vocals on these tracks are performed by me.
My good friend Gord Sheffroth (http://www.myspace.com/gorianroth) started laying down some of his own kickass music which inspired me to finally let go of the cover scene and start putting my own music out into the abyss. Curtis Basque of Basque Studios has been pushing me for years to put out some original music. It was hard to say no when he offered to record my music for me. Alas, no more excuses!
I have been playing in cover bands out on the East Coast since the 80s with bands such as
- Airtite (Saint John, NB)
- Hellion (Saint John, NB)
- Generation Blues (Saint John, NB)
- Lords of the Pentatonic (Classic Rock - Saint Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, NS)
- The Boys from X (Acoustic Folk Rock - Saint Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, NS )
- Beggar's Opera (Classic Rock - Saint John, NB)
- Rainmaker (Original Progressive Rock - Saint John, NB)
- Karma (80s Rock Tribute - Fredericton, NB)
I have had the honour and privilege of opening for some of Canada's best musicians such as Kim Mitchell, Jeff Healey, Andrew Cash, Kim Stockwood, Pursuit of Happiness, and Valdy to name a few.
Please send a comment to give some constructive feedback on the music. I look forward to hearing from you. Ciao for now!
