We started playing covers in coffee shops and the like while we were both still in College. Then in December 2005 we decided to write a few songs and record them in my basement...mmm very garage band esq.

For a while we went by the name "Marc and Lauren", but eventually in summer 2006 we decided on Autumn's Rest. With the advent of a new name came the developement of a new website.
