The culture of hip hop meets the underlying powers of shadow-exploratives on the flip-side of loneliness within this candid project, the Naked Poetics (EP) by none other than... Chrisolitude.
Why this name?
It's based on a bizarre dream where the infamous guitarist, Tim Wertin , and numerous strangers kept calling me by the beckon of "Chrisolitude... Chrisolitude..." via a very "Being John Malkovich-esque" manner. (Christopher is my middle name.)
Do you play live?
Not at this time. I do like live performance very much & have extensive experience in the department thereof, however, present circumstances repress it low on my list of priorities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet opens up a broad platform for freedom in the music industry & pushes lazy-asses to bother with doing shows to make money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but only on my own unorthodox terms.
Your influences?
I'm into any music that evokes transcendence &/or marries sound to mood in chapels of expression...
Favorite spot?
downtown Long Beach, CA; Sunken City in San Pedro; Back Bay in Costa Mesa & Los Cerritos Park in Long Beach, CA
Equipment used:
