My name's Baltazar and I beatbox. I have been for almost three years now and hope that by now I should be better...My myspace page is www.myspace.com/razatlab I have some beatboxing on there as well.
Why this name?
Boxstar came from a nickname given to me cause my real name's hard to pronounce at first...
Do you play live?
I beatbox whenever. I do it sometimes in class when I get bored and don't even notice it. Me with the help of another beatboxer, David, won the school talent show our senior year, so that was a plus.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I don't really know...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Nah, I'm not that great...I always expect the worst, but hope for the best, so I never give up.
Your influences?
Any kind of music influences what kind of beats I do or what kind of covers I may want to try and imitate.
