With the release of their much anticipated mix tape (The Chop Shop Customs and Classics), The Fam has made their mark in the underground hip hop scene and continues to represent the B.C. interior with unstoppable force. Z-LG aka Zane L. Gold a producer and ceo of So Low Records founded the group in 2005 bringing together the wide range of talents possessed by m.c.'s Dollah D, John Mitchell and Crome. Within weeks the hip hop group was opening for top shelf acts such as Kyprios and The Game. Their charismatic nature along with an undeniable ability to set the mood of a song is a good enough reason alone to be an instant fan of The Fam, but you add brilliant lyrics, a remarkable talent to rhyme in many rhythms and top it off with the fact that all these guys can sing, its a no-brainer that this act is only headed for bigger things.
