DIMAHDA is a form of art and power. In the Philippine, Visayan Language, it came from the word DI- MAH-DA which means, "No can do" or "unable to do". In this way, if the band either fails on the performance or has a good performance, the band's name will fit for the situation =)

DIMAHDA performs live on local areas and other special event in Cebu City. Every performance is never the same, and we really love that feeling of being pressured and that adrenaline pumping when we step on the stage infront of hundreds of people. We savor every performance whether it is a practice session or a live performance, we are thankful that we are able to play with the music that we really love and play music for the people we really love.

Internet is a great way to help the music industry. As young professionals and amateur muscians, we really think technology has played a big role in the advancement of the music industry. In the words of business, we need to be aware both internal and external environment around us, and technology has played a big role in the promoting of the business industry nowadays.

Internet has helped both unsigned and signed musicians to be internationally exposed. For unsigned bands, its a good start and for the experienced bands, its constant promotion and advertising. It is a blessing to have the chance to be exposed internationally through the internet as unsigned bands are concerned.

No. We were really thinking about marketing the bands ourselves. We believe we can take the risk and beat the odds in telling the whole world who DIMAHDA is.

Though our music is a product of the incorporations of different genres, we really have to say that DREAM THEATER has exerted a major influence on our music. The members of DREAM THEATER are professional musicians and they have the essence of rock discipline. These guys have the ability to play anything and thats what DIMAHDA is aiming to be. DIMAHDA also listens to metallica, pantera, Sonata Arctica, Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, poison, Def Leppard.... those classic rock bands from the 80's-90's are really fun to listen and play to. DIMAHDA also have high respects from the people of the 70's. These guys are the major pioneers of music from rock n roll, to funk and hip-hop and they should get the respect that they deserve =).

CEBU! Cebu is really a great city to perform live. Musicians are blessed to be able to play here. There are a lot of supporters from different kinds of genres and these supporters also like local artists which is a great way to start as an unsigned band. Cebu as a progressive province, has many cultural and public activities which gives musicians life from their gigs and functions.
