Strange Place
We started about 2 mnths ago, we're an indie four piece from Birmingham. the band consists of four people: Joe Barr ( Guitar and lead vox), John Malan (bass and back up vox), Liam Flynn (lead guitar). Ant Mac (drums).
Why this name?
Because originally we were called the zoot suit riots, but the name was already taken so we shortened it to The Zoot

Yes, we're amazing! A once in alifetime experience to see us live
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes it better in ways becuase of promotion. but changes the cd business.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes YES YEA!

The Strokes, Guns N' Roses, ACDC, Sly And The Family Stone, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Black Keys, The Rolling Stones, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Carlos Santana, THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.

The Zoot are adding the finishing touches to thier debut EP titled "Make Way For The Zoot" Tracks will have to be done track by track, becuase of lack of funds. But we ARE getting recording Tuesday (04/07/06) for a couple of songs, and a demo will be released. "Make Way For The Zoot" is expected to be a 7 track masterpiece, however the demo contains 3 tracks. The announced tracks are as follows:
