Kyle Chiblow aka Big Kowgli has been in the rap scene since 2001. Began working with schoolmate Raw B Snatch, they release demo CDs. 2003 Kyle moved to the 519 to get in the lab with MC Sage & DJ Mixxx, he continued to perfect his rhyme skills as well as making beats for MC Sage. With the experience he had learned, he began working on his first album Knowledge & Respect through Extra Fine Records in 2004. Distributing over 500 demos to promote the album as well as creating all the beats, he finished the project in August 2004. Traveling the pow wow trail, singing with various drum groups and selling his CDs he began making a name for himself. In the next 2 years, he took time off to raise his boys and recorded songs when he had a chance. He released another project titled Bezhig Zaagdaah in 2006. Now Kyle has began working on, as of yet untitled LP. Long time fans have claimed his new music will be ground breaking in the hip hop industry and empowering in native communities.
